Nick Nash

Nick Nash is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Asia Partners, a private equity firm focused on the next generation of high-growth technology companies in Southeast Asia, since 2019. Prior,  Nick was the Group President and a Board Member of Sea Ltd, Greater Southeast Asia’s leading internet company with a ~50Bn market cap, from 2014 to 2018. Nick was leading Sea’s landmark initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: SE) which raised approximately $1 billion of primary capital.

Prior to Sea, Nick was a private equity investor with General Atlantic (GA) for more than a decade. GA is one the world’s largest technology-focused investment firms, and Nick co-founded, and was head of, GA’s Southeast Asia business. Nick started his career serving as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.

From 2017-2018, Nick was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Working Group on Local Capital Markets Integration and ASEAN Regional Strategy Group. He was also term member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and honorary secretary and a board member of the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, as well as a member of the global Kauffman Society for leadership in venture capital, a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and a board member of Endeavor Indonesia. Furthermore, he was a member of the the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) of Singapore.

Nick co-founded the non-profit foundation Morph.org with his wife Phalgun Raju, whose primary effort is the Ramanujan Project to identify, support and nurture exceptional mathematics talent in emerging markets. He is also a board member of the Manudhane Foundation for Excellence, which aims to  foster individual and organizational excellence in India and, thereby improve the quality of life. 

In 2007, he received his MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. In 2000, he completed his undergraduate BA (Hons) degree from Harvard University in Chemistry and Physics, magna cum laude. In 1996, he received the United States Presidential Scholarship.
